NDT Data Capture Goes Digital
James Fisher were engaged by Ross-Shire Engineering to carry out NDT inspections on over 2000 chemical tanks at numerous remote locations.
Working together, a number of audit templates and custom reports were developed to enable the inspections and testing to be carried out on using TickAudit.
The key benefits of using TickAudit were:
- The removal of paper from the project
- Quick, accurate data capture during testing
- Timestamped, GPS and Photographic evidence of all testing
- Real time data capture available for review and use
- Automated generation of NDT reports
- Automated transfer of reports to Scottish Water

The use of TickAudit saved Scottish Water approximately £750k over the full programme by saving thousands of admin hours.
